The article, published in two parts in 2017 and 2018 in the prestigious law review “Vita Notarile”, after retracing the origins of the modern Japanese legal system, focuses attention on the world of commercial law and in particular corporate law. The recently amended law about Partnerships is the subject of an in-depth study conducted with a comparative method which takes into consideration the relevant Italian legislation and the English Common law .
